A Live to Film Concert Experience
Disney and Pixar’s Coco will be brought to life on stage for the first time ever this November at the Hollywood Bowl for one weekend only – Friday, November 8th and Saturday, November 9th. The spectacular event in Los Angeles will include an all-star lineup of special guests including Benjamin Bratt, Eva Longoria, Carlos Rivera, Miguel, Alanna Ubach, Alex Gonzalez, Jaime Camil, Lele Pons, Rudy Mancuso and Natalia Jimenez whowill appear throughout the evening as the beloved film plays on the Bowl’s movie screen accompanied by a full, live orchestra. Mariachi Divas will also entertain the audience with traditional Mariachi music throughout the night. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 13that 12pm PT at Ticketmaster.com.
Conductor Sarah Hicks will lead the full orchestra performing Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s original score along with special guests performing the film’s songs including Academy Award®-winner for Original Song “Remember Me,” as well as “Un Poco Loco,” “The World Es Mi Familia,” and many more.
Coco Live in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl will transform the legendary venue into the Land of the Dead with special pre-show activities. Day of the Dead costumes are encouraged.
Mousetrappe, the award-winning immersive design agency and media studio, returns to create state-of-the-art digital projection imagery on the shell of the iconic Hollywood Bowl. Earlier this year, Mousetrappe also created imagery for Disney’s The Little Mermaid Live in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

Felipe Fernandez del Paso serves as director ofCoco Live in Concert. Fernandez del Paso has directed theater and film, and is also a production designer, set designer and writer. He received an Oscar® nomination for Best Production Design for the 2003 film, “Frida.”
Amy Tinkham is Creative Consulant for Coco Live in Concert. Most recently she served as Creative Director for Aerosmith’s “Deuces are Wild” Las Vegas residency and James Taylor’s Caesars Palace residency. She also directs the Dancing with the Stars and America’s Got Talent Live tours. She is currently working with Franco Dragone on a new show in China.
The concert is produced by Disney Concerts andLive Nation/Andrew Hewitt & Bill Silva Presents, a team who has performed together several highly acclaimed live to film events at the Hollywood Bowl including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in Concert starring Zooey Deschanel and Kelsey Grammer as well as Disney’s The Little Mermaidstarring Lea Michele and Harvey Fierstein.

Madame X Tour
Madame X Tour is the eleventh concert tour by American singer Madonna, in support of her fourteenth studio album Madame X (2019). Currently consisting of 90 dates, the all-theatre tour started on September 17, 2019, in New York City, and is set to conclude on March 8, 2020, in Paris.
This marks the first time the singer will be touring small venues since 1985’s The Virgin Tour. Planned to only include theatres, currently the tour exclusively consists of dates in the United States, England, France, and Portugal. Due to popular demand, new show dates were added in New York and Los Angeles, the same day the tour was officially announced. On May 20, 2019, the dates for the remaining US cities were officially announced and on September 9, 2019 San Francisco was added to the itinerary. The day before the tour officially started, two more shows were added in Miami.
Celebrities such as Debi Mazar, Rosie O’Donnell, Spike Lee, Anderson Cooper, Maluma and Taylor Swift were spotted at various shows at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Additionally, the current Prime Minister of Cape Verde, Ulisses Correia e Silva, came to the show to congratulate Madonna for including Batuque music into the show and raising awareness of the art from the African country.

Golden Dragon Parade
Golden Dragon Parade : In celebrating over one hundred years of tradition, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles presents the 121st Annual Golden Dragon Parade. With over thousands and thousands of individuals lining the parade route and thousands viewing the telecast each year, this colorful celebration along North Broadway in Chinatown has become the premier cultural event in the Southern California Asian-American Community.
Since the mid-1980s, the Golden Dragon Parade has expanded to include almost two dozen floats, multiple marching bands, government officials, various dignitaries, entertainers, local business leaders, and cultural groups. The parade theme emphasizes ethnic diversity, Chinese culture, and exposure to Chinese-American businesses. The parade continues to be a rich and diverse experience for Angelenos of all ages and ethnicities.
The day of the Lunar New Year is the most celebrated holiday of the year for nearly 1.5 million persons of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese descent in Southern California. It is celebrated with colorful festivals, parades, and most importantly, large family gatherings. It is also a time when ancestors are fondly remembered and families give thanks for their blessings. Red packets of money (Lai see or Hung bao) and firecrackers add fun and excitement to the Chinese New Year celebration.

CORE is a dedicated space for galleries recognized around the globe as leading the way in contemporary art. The galleries showcasing here continually educate, inspire and enthrall the world’s avid collectors with the most sought-after voices in the market.
The largest section of programming at the LA Art Show, Modern + Contemporary exhibits the vast spectrum of contemporary painting, illustration, sculpture and more from galleries in Los Angeles, the Pacific Rim, and over 18 countries around the world.
Capitalizing on the city’s position on the Pacific Rim, DIVERSEartLA is a special programming section devoted to nurturing the creative energy of international collectors, artists, curators, museums and non-profits by connecting them directly with audiences in Los Angeles. The LA Art Show donates 50,000 square feet of exhibition space to participating organizations each year as our civic engagement, and the featured work is not for sale. Ink is as synonymous with painting in the East as oil is with painting in the West. From traditional and historical, to contemporary, to avant-garde, seven galleries offer us an opportunity to appreciate the rich spectrum of ink painting styles.
Beginning in 2016, Dialogs LA is an ongoing slate of talks and panels discussions led by esteemed international curators, artists, designers, collectors, and art influencers to stimulate conversations on relevant trends and issues affecting the contemporary art world.
Hailing from around the world, the exhibitors in Project Space showcase a broad array of ideas and talents in the form of solo exhibitions, presented by participating galleries.
Works on Paper is a dedicated exhibition space for showcasing photographs and other works not on traditional canvas.
Making its debut last year, FASHION is an integral, artistic part of LA’s creative landscape. For our 25th anniversary, we honored 25 years of local legend Sue Wong’s iconic style.
A special section which serves as a curated space to showcase international design galleries, exhibiting functional art and collectible contemporary design.
Our newest neighbor, the Broad Museum, opened to enthusiastic crowds, displays 2,000 works of art from The Broad Art Foundation and the Broads’ personal collections, which are among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. OUE Skyspace LA, located in the iconic US Bank Tower, brings to life California’s must-see attraction. Nearly 1,000 feet above downtown LA and offering unobstructed 360-degree views boasts entertainment and excitement for audiences of any age.
The LA Convention Center is Southern California’s most technologically advanced green venue, featuring soaring ceilings and ample space, including one of the largest dedicated parking structures in the entire city and with over 15,000 spaces in the immediate vicinity!
The mission of Modernism Week is to celebrate and foster appreciation of midcentury architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields, by encouraging education, preservation and sustainable modern living as represented in the greater Palm Springs area.

Modernism Week’s signature February Event is an annual celebration of midcentury modern design, architecture, art, fashion and culture. This exciting festival takes place in February in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. Modernism Week features more than 350 events including the Modernism Show & Sale, Signature Home Tours, films, lectures, Premier Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours, nightly parties and live music, walking and bike tours, tours of Sunnylands, fashion, classic cars, modern garden tours, a vintage travel trailer exhibition, and more.
In addition to the events in February, Modernism Week hosts the “Fall Preview” weekend in October. Partner organizations collaborate to produce a “mini-Modernism Week” to kick-off the active social and recreational season in Palm Springs.
Modernism Week is also a charitable organization, providing scholarships to local students pursuing college educations in the fields of architecture and design; as well as supporting local and state preservation organizations and neighborhood groups in their efforts to preserve modernist architecture throughout the state of California.
