LA Film Festival
The 2017 LA Film Festival is taking place on June 14-22. This annual Film Festival runs independent, documentaries and short films. The films will be presented at the ArcLight Cinemas Culver City with additional screenings at ArcLight Hollywood, ArcLight Santa Monica and many more! There is an expected attendance of more than 36,000 people. There will be more than 100 feature films that will be screened at the event. Fresh new talent will be in charge of presenting these films, both in front and behind the cameras. These new faces bring different voices, visions, and diversity upon the film industry. Most of these films turn out to be award-winning quality. This proves the amount of talent there is outside of the big-name movie industry. Along with new talent, new themes are shown that exceed the expectations of the public. These type of accomplishements help promote valuable relationships within the film industry. Film Independent is behind this whole event. They are a non-profit organization devoted to promoting and showing support for independent films. The films chosen for the event must first go through a careful process selection.

Tickets are on sale for the LA Film Festival, so be prepared and get them on time because they tend to sell out fast. Ticket prices begin at $16 per film. Also, your festival pass provides an entry to the Festival Lounge if you are 21 or older. During your time at the event, you will have the opportunity to interact with the filmmakers or other professionals in the film community. It can’t possibly get any better than that!
