KCRW Summer Nights
KCRW Summer Nights is a concert series presented by a public radio station located in Santa Monica. The KCRW Summer Nights series take place in different venues throughout Los Angeles. A few of those locations are: Center City Anaheim, Chinatown, Hammer Museum, Santa Monica Pier (Santa Monica Beach), California African American Museum, Anneburg Space Photography, and Union Station. To begin with, this outdoor summer music series event is for all ages and free of charge. If you are ready for some fun, this is the perfect event for you. One of the perfect locations hosting a concert series is one of Southern California’s most beautiful beaches, the Santa Monica Beach. At the pier, Marcia Griffith and Jah9 will be performing a one-of-a-kind show on July 13, 2017. There will be events hosted each weekend throughout August with various artists on site.
In addition, since this event is in the pier, you will have access to many of the restaurants and delicious shacks. What better way than to spend the day at the beach during sunset listening to some live music. The concerts usually begin around 7:00 pm and go all the way up to 10:00 pm. It attracts a great crowd, so go with time to get a spot. For transportation, take the train (Metro); it is much faster and you save yourself from parking fees. The metro blue line runs all the way to the beach. It has never been easier to reach the beach and cut traffic, so thank Metro for that Blue Line!
Also, if you need a place to rest from dancing the night away, remember Dixie Hollywood is here for a comfortable stay.
