Chinese New Year Festival & Parade
Chinese New Year Festival & Parade will be taking place in the Los Angeles Chinatown. Chinatown is a colorful urban setting that highlights China’s cultural aspects, especially during the Chinese New Year. About 50 years ago, on Saturday, June 25, 1938, the Los Angeles Chinatown’s Central Plaza had its grand opening in a gala ceremony. This started the beautiful culture it is today. Now, Chinatown is full of restaurants and shops that focus on serving the community with authentic foods and artifacts straight from China.
