The Hollywood Christmas Parade
The Hollywood Christmas Parade is back once again! On Sunday, November 26, 2017, you can witness the most anticipated event of the year! This is a local favorite because it brings the feeling of the holidays like no other event. They announced the grand marshal for this year’s 86th Anniversary celebration to be Dr. OZ. The hosts of the evening will be Laura McKenzie, Erik Estrada, and many more. This family-friendly event caters to anyone who loves celebrating music and TV. There are a great amount of school marching bands and dance teams that put on a special performance for this event. The animation balloons are also part of this joyous celebration. Some of those include Snoopy, Kermit the Frog, and Gumby from “Gumby Adventures.” The live event is to air primetime on the CW Network nationwide on December 15 at 8:00 P.M. ET / 8:00 P.M. PT. Don’t miss out on this special holiday event!
The parade will begin in Hollywood and Orange. It will give a U-shaped turn on Vine and Hollywood and continue on Sunset.
One of the best places to park is at the Hollywood/Highland shopping complex. There are other public lots surrounding the area as well. There is a charge to park at these locations, so please contact these individual lots for parking fees and come early to avoid the traffic. Also, be aware of street closures and “No Parking” designated areas for the parade!
From Downtown Los Angeles, you want to take the Red Line and get off on either Hollywood/ Vine or Hollywood/ Highland. A round-trip fare is only $3.50.
Are you planning to stay nearby? Book your stay with us at the Dixie Hollywood for an enjoyable stay. The METRO Red Line is right next to the Dixie!
